Facts:
Roll On/Roll Off is the method of choice
for most car manufacturers. Most Imports are shipped from Europe or Asia on Roll
On/Roll Off vessels. If you own an imported automobile, chances are your vehicle
has already seen the inside of a Roll On/Roll Off vessel. Since most manufacturers
ship new cars Ro/Ro, most steam shiplines offer special rates for new vehicles.

Cars
After your car is delivered to the pier, it will be parked in a designated
holding area until the arrival of the vessel. From the holding area the car is
then driven directly into the boat and secured on one of the decks. Once the vessel
arrives at the destination all cars are off-loaded using the same procedure. The
cars are then driven to the destination holding area. |
